Are you worried your dog is going to hurt someone?
Do guests hesitate to come over because it makes them nervous or uncomfortable?
Does your dog:
• jump on you or others
• mouth your hands, arms, or clothing
• nip during play
• knock people over
• become wild and out of control
• play too rough
• seem impossible to calm down once excited
Jumping, biting, and nipping can be stressful, embarrassing, and even scary.
You may feel:
• overwhelmed
• frustrated
• embarrassed
• discouraged
• worried someone could get hurt
You may have already tried:
• telling your dog "No"
• pushing them away
• corrections
• training videos
• treats
• advice from friends
And yet the behavior continues and may even be getting worse.
One of the biggest things I want you to know is this:
Your dog is not bad.
Your dog is not dominant.
Your dog is not trying to embarrass you.
They are HAVING a hard time.
And a CALM DOG is the answer.
What Most Owners Don't Realize
One of the most common mistakes I see is accidentally creating more excitement.
Many dogs already live too high on the adrenaline scale.
Then we unknowingly add even more:
• excited greetings
• rough play
• yelling
• high-pitched voices
• constant stimulation
The excitement keeps building.
Until eventually it explodes outward physically.
Another common mistake is assuming the behavior is caused by a lack of exercise alone.
Many dogs are physically tired but mentally overloaded.
Many owners are trying their best.
They simply haven't been taught how excitement and adrenaline affect behavior.
Why Common Solutions Often Fall Short
Many owners believe more exercise is the answer.
I've worked with many dogs whose owners kept adding:
• more walks
• more play
• more activity
• more stimulation
Yet the jumping, mouthing, and nipping remained.
And many times it got worse.
Because physical exercise and emotional calm are not the same thing.
A dog can be physically tired and still feel emotionally overwhelmed.
What Your Dog May Be Trying to Tell You
Many dogs struggling with jumping, biting, and nipping are dealing with feelings such as:
• excitement
• overwhelm
• frustration
• stress
• lack of fulfillment
• loss of self-control
They are not trying to hurt you.
They are not trying to embarrass you.
They are not trying to make your life difficult.
They are trying to cope with the world around them the best way they know how.
That simple shift in perspective changes everything.

Over the years, I've worked with thousands of dogs and owners and have personally rehabilitated hundreds of rescue dogs in my own home.
I've met owners who:
• avoid inviting people over
• worry their dog will knock someone down
• apologize constantly for their dog's behavior
• feel embarrassed when guests arrive
• wonder why their dog can't settle down
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
I've helped many dogs and owners just like you.
When most people search for help with jumping, biting, and nipping, they're focused on what they can see.
• jumping
• mouthing
• nipping
• rough play
• grabbing clothing
• scratching
• knocking people over
But these behaviors are only the symptoms.
Not the root of the problem.
All behaviors are a form of your dog's communication.
When a dog jumps, mouths, or nips, they are trying to tell us something.
Excitement.
Overstimulation.
Stress.
Frustration.
Lack of fulfillment.
Lack of self-control.
Most owners spend months trying to stop the behavior itself.
Yet the behavior keeps returning.
That's because lasting change happens when we understand what is driving the behavior, not just the behavior we can see.
Understanding and dealing with the root cause is the first step toward meaningful change that lasts.
Inside this online course, I'll walk you through the same step-by-step process I use with private clients to help your dog learn how to:
• settle
• relax naturally
• create lasting behavior change

Whether your dog is brand new or you've been struggling with this behavior for months or even years, I encourage everyone to start in the exact same place.
If The CALM DOG Connection principles can successfully rehabilitate severely traumatized rescue dogs, imagine what they can do for your dog.
Whether you're trying to prevent unwanted behaviors or help your dog overcome behaviors you're already struggling with, we start by teaching your dog how to be calm.
Not with more commands.
Not with more correction.
We start by helping your dog feel safe and learn how to relax.
One of the biggest things I've learned after working with thousands of dogs and their owners is that many loving owners accidentally create more stress without realizing it.
Most of us are simply doing what feels natural.
We talk to our dogs, many times in full sentences or baby talk.
We pet and cuddle our dogs constantly.
We let them follow us everywhere.
We try to keep them entertained.
It comes from a place of love.
But many of our dogs never learn how to feel calm without depending on us. We are their primary source of overstimulation without realizing it.
They become dependent on constant interaction, constant reassurance, or constant activity around them.
At the same time, many dogs are not getting enough of what truly fulfills their instincts as dogs.
This is what I mean when I talk about dogs becoming overstimulated and under fulfilled.
And when that imbalance continues long enough, it shows up as behavior.
Inside The CALM DOG Connection, we'll get to the root of your dog's behavior and I'll show you how to create:
• calm
• consistency
• structure
• fulfillment
• emotional safety
Before behavior can change, most dogs need to learn how to rest, decompress, and feel safe enough to finally relax.
Whether your dog is overexcited, nervous, fearful, shy, or anxious, we have to help them calm down first.
When dogs begin to feel calm and safe, behavior starts changing naturally.
💛 Your dog has been trying to communicate with you all along.
Now that you understand more about what's happening beneath the behavior, the next step is learning how to help them.
Inside The CALM DOG Connection, I'll guide you step by step so you can begin creating more calm, confidence, emotional safety, and a stronger connection with your dog.
You don't have to figure this out alone.
Choose the option that feels right for you.
Jumping, biting, and nipping don't only happen with puppies.
I see it in:
• puppy mill survivors
• breeder dogs
• inherited dogs
• puppies
• senior dogs
• all dogs from all backgrounds
Some dogs become overstimulated very easily.
Some have practiced excited behaviors for years.
Some never learned how to settle themselves.
Some are simply living with too much adrenaline and excitement every day.
Different histories.
Similar struggles.
And that's important because many owners assume their dog is being difficult.
Inside The CALM DOG Connection online course, one of my core philosophies is:
Connection NOT Correction.
Instead of focusing on obedience, we focus on understanding.
Instead of forcing behavior change, we focus on creating calm.
You'll learn how to build trust through:
• eye contact
• calm energy
• body language
• subtle words
• positive rewards
• confidence building
• structure
• leadership
• connection
Because when dogs feel safe, understood, and connected, meaningful change becomes possible.
If you're struggling with jumping, biting, and nipping, I want you to leave here knowing this:
You are not alone.
Your dog is not broken.
And it is not too late.
I've helped many dogs and owners struggling with:
• jumping
• mouthing
• nipping
• overexcitement
• overwhelm
Change is possible.
Because we help dogs feel safer, calmer, and more understood.
I'm here to help you.
Step by step. I'm going to walk you through this.
The CALM DOG Connection was created for:
• all dogs
• all puppies
• all breeds
• all ages
